Leah Chase is the owner and chef of Dooky Chase restaurant. This podcast is the second in a two-part interview as Leah continues to talk about growing up in the country. Leah tells us what Sunday dinner was like and describes how she made decorations from empty Luzianne coffee cans and how her mother made tablecloths. Leah and I remember the first time I interviewed her in her FEMA trailer in 2006 following Hurricane Katrina, and she explains why she found that time so difficult. She also talks a little about her plans for the future of Dooky Chase and voices her hopes of opening for dinner on Saturday evenings. Listen here!
